Arsenal forward, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, has been named November Player of the Month by popular Pan-Africa group of television channels, SuperSport.

The Gabon skipper saw off competition from fellow Premier League trio Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah and Riyad Mahrez.

The forward has continued to impress since his arrival at the Emirates Stadium in January and has racked up nine goals in 13 appearances this season across all competitions.

Aubameyang was instrumental in the Gunners’ remarkable run in the month under review.

The 29-year-old featured in four matches, racking up five goals and an assist.

Against Fulham and Leicester City, he scored a brace in each of the games and was on target in their stalemate with Crystal Palace to jointly lead the Premier League goalscoring chart with seven goals.

He also played the full game for his country as they claimed an important 3-0 win over South Sudan in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

Aubameyang is reaping from an incredible partnership with Frenchman, Alexandre Lacazette.

“There is no competition over who scored more goals. Maybe in training we do because it helps us to improve but not at the weekend,” said Lacazette in regards to his relationship with the Gabonese star.

He added: “If Auba scores 40 goals, we finish in the Champions League and win something then I will be happy. This season we just want to win something.”
