With a total of 194 points, UNILORIN finished in second, and Summit University, Offa took third with 184 points.

The competition, according to Dr. Kehinde Kadiri, head of the department of mass communication at the University of Ilorin, was created to serve as a venue for the meeting of the town and the gown.
She added that arrangements had been made for industry specialists to present lectures on advertising management to the student body.

“I’ve come to the realization that theory and practice are not the same thing. There is a significant difference between what we educate our pupils and what actually happens on the field.

The platform, she explained, “is designed to provide a seamless transition for our students and to help them understand how the game is played in the real world. “It is also focused at giving them the knowledge they need before entering the profession.
