Plateau United will head into their Nigeria Premier Football League matchday 19 clash against Abia Warriors depleted, with eight first-team players ruled out due to injuries.

The injured list includes Harrison Ebah, Dawa Victor, Daniel Solomon, Alukam Elvis and Amah John. Also sidelined are Enewarikpemi Timi, Ahmed Farouk and Rotshak John, all nursing varying degrees of fitness concerns.

Despite the setback, the Jos-based club insists the injury crisis has not weakened its resolve ahead of the encounter.

“Setbacks remain part of the journey, but the spirit in camp is strong, the focus is clear, and the target remains unchanged,” the club said while reacting to the injury situation.

Plateau United added that the team is determined to finish the year strongly, stressing that “all eyes are forward” as they prepare for the decisive fixture.

The Tin City side will host Abia Warriors at the New Jos Stadium on Sunday, aiming to secure a positive result despite the depleted squad.
