Two new Assistant Commissioners of Police (ACPs) and eighty other senior officers have been promoted by the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) in Kebbi.
When Chris Aimionowane, the state’s Commissioner of Police (CP), presented the policemen with their decorations in Birnin Kebbi on Tuesday, he stated that the promotions had been approved by the Police Service Commission and had been recommended by Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kayode Egbetokun.
On behalf of the IGP, he thanked the recently promoted officers and tasked them with giving their jobs more commitment.
Aimionowane advised the officers to view their promotion as a source of encouragement and more responsibility, as well as a testament to their diligence and commitment to duty.
In order for them to merit further advancements within the Force, he also counseled them to maintain discipline and allegiance to legitimate authorities.
DCP Ali Yusuf praised Allah in the name of the promoted officers for saving their lives so they could be there for the “memorable day” in good health.
He also conveyed their sincere appreciation to the PSC and the IGP for their kind recommendations and approvals of their promotions. He said that the police would work twice as hard to carry out their duties as effectively as possible.
Alhaji Nura Fingila, the state commissioner for youths and sports, praised the CP’s enormous accomplishments in his aim to eradicate all criminal activity and crimes from the state.
He also applauded the state’s visibility policing strategy and the CP’s open-door policy and courtesy toward the public.
Two ACPs were promoted to Deputy Commissioners of Police (DCPs), one Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP) to the level of ACP, and two Superintendents of Police (SPs) to the rank of CSP were among the decorated officials, according to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).
