Controversial Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has reignited his feud with Queen Dammy, widow of the late Alaafin of Oyo, after she publicly denied having any relationship with him.
The renewed drama comes months after Portable and Queen Dammy parted ways in December 2024 following a bitter online clash that spilled into public view. During that episode, the singer launched verbal attacks at Ibadan, Oyo State, where Queen Dammy hails from, boasting that he “rescued” her from poor housing conditions and relocated her to what he described as a more civilised city. His comments triggered outrage among Ibadan indigenes, who subsequently barred him from performing in the city.
The controversy faded in January 2025, with both parties going silent—until this week.
Portable resurfaced with fresh accusations after Queen Dammy, during a TikTok live session with popular streamer Salo, declared that the singer no longer existed in her life while openly searching for love.
In a video shared on social media, an aggrieved Portable accused Queen Dammy of lying and betraying a private understanding between them. He claimed they had reconciled after she allegedly begged him and mutually agreed to keep their renewed relationship off social media.
The singer further alleged that Queen Dammy is currently living in an apartment he rented for her and insisted they were together shortly before her TikTok appearance.
Expressing his anger, Portable said her denial was unfair, especially given his claim that he still caters to her needs. He also suggested she should have helped pacify Ibadan residents over the earlier controversy rather than disowning him publicly.
The latest outburst has once again thrust both figures into the spotlight, reviving a relationship saga that continues to fuel debate across social media.
