Tunji Wusu –
Four executive orders have been signed by President Bola Tinubu, one of which suspends the import tax adjustment fee on specific cars.
The Special Adviser on Special Duties, Communications, and Strategy, Dele Alake, reportedly made this announcement on Thursday while speaking to reporters from the State House at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, according to The Sun.
According to Alake, the President issued these directives in addition to others to lessen the adverse effects of the tax modifications on firms and households in the impacted sectors.
He reaffirmed the President’s promise to look into complaints about excessive local, state, and federal taxes.
He gave the assurance that the Tinubu administration would continue to provide the necessary impetus through accommodating policies to enable businesses to thrive in the nation.
