PRESIDENT TINUBU’S SECOND MINISTERIAL LIST INCLUDES OYETOLA, LALONG, MATAWALLE, AND 16 OTHER INDIVIDUALS.

The second round of President Bola Tinubu’s ministry nominations was revealed by Senate President Godwill Akpabio on August 2.

Former governors Gboyega Oyetola, Simon Lalong, Bello Matawalle, and Atiku Bagudu are included on the new list.

Others include Heineken Lokpobori, Maigari Ahmadu, Zaphaniah Jisalo, Abdullahi Gwarzo, Bosun Tijani, Maryam Shetty, Isiak Salako, Tunji Alausa, Yusuf Sununu, Ibrahim Geidam, Lola John, Shuaibu Audu, Tahir Mamman, Aliyu Abdullahi, Alkali Saidu, and Ibrahim Geidam.

Earlier, the Senate received the additional ministerial list that had been provided by the President’s chief of staff, Femi Gbajabiamila. The Senate President received the second list and the second batch of ministry nominees from the recently-departed Speaker of the House of Representatives.

Last Thursday, Gbajabiamila sent the red chamber the initial list of 28 nominees and promised to send more names to the upper house.
