The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has extended an invitation to any interested parties to purchase a presidential aircraft, a Falcon 900B.
The federal government’s clearance to sell the aircraft, which are allegedly a component of the presidential air fleet, came after the announcement.
Information of the aircraft sale was made public late on Monday night via the NAF’s official X account.
“The sale of Falcon 900B aircraft owned by the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has been approved by the Federal Government of Nigeria.”
“All interested parties are hereby invited to submit bids for the purchase of the aircraft by the NAF, in accordance with the provisions of the Public Procurement Act 2007.” Bids may be sent electronically or in person.
“If bids are sent via email, they must be password-protected and delivered to dproc@airforce.mil.ng; the password must be transmitted to d proc2@airforce.miI.ng separately.
When submitting the quotations in person, the interested company or entity’s name, address, description, and request reference must all be written on the sealed envelope containing the quotations.
Additionally, it must read, ‘DO NOT OPEN BEFORE 24 DECEMBER 2023.'” Part of the publication says, “Please note that the bids would be considered promptly after the deadline for submission expires.
