Nigerian comedienne Princess has publicly appealed to five prominent clerics—Femi Lazarus, Phillip Olubakin, Bolaji Idowu, Jerry Eze, and Apostle Selman—to help her find a suitable life partner from within their congregations.
In an Instagram video shared on her page, the divorced entertainer, whose real name is Oluwadamilola Adekoya, made a heartfelt plea, urging the pastors to “allow God use you for my marital success.”
Princess said she had prayed and fasted before deciding to go public, admitting that it took “a lot of courage” to record and post the video. She questioned whether, among the thousands of members in their churches, there was no responsible and kind man who could be introduced to her for marriage.
Visibly emotional, the comedienne appealed for practical intervention, asking the clerics to spare just 30 minutes to review the list of single men in their churches—specifically those in their 40s or early 50s—and connect her with a potential partner.
Princess was married in May 2013 but divorced barely two weeks later due to irreconcilable differences. Her renewed appeal has since sparked widespread reactions on social media, with many users debating faith, vulnerability, and modern approaches to finding a life partner.
