Legendary music producer Quincy Jones, known for his collaborations with Michael Jackson, Frank Sinatra, and Ray Charles, passed away at 91 on Sunday, November 3, 2024. Surrounded by family in his Bel Air home, his publicist Arnold Robinson confirmed the news.

In a heartfelt statement, his family shared, “We celebrate the great life that he lived and know there will never be another like him.” Jones’ career spanned over 70 years, solidifying his place as one of the most awarded artists with 28 Grammy wins from 80 nominations. His influence crossed genres, and his work helped shape pop, jazz, and R&B, famously producing Michael Jackson’s Thriller, Off the Wall, and Bad. He was also known for co-writing We Are the World, a global charity anthem.

Beyond music, Jones impacted film and television, founding his own production company, which produced classics like The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and The Color Purple. His innovative legacy lives on, leaving an indelible mark on entertainment.
