Babatunji Wusu –

Joe Ajaero, National President of the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC), has generated comments on social media with his images from the COP28 in Dubai.

Some online users expressed astonishment at seeing Ajaero at the meeting, despite the outcry over the large number of Nigerian representatives present.

This occurs many weeks after the NLC president was brutally attacked and assaulted in Imo State by thugs who were allegedly supported by the state administration before the state’s off-cycle election.

Prior to official intervention, the incident also sparked a nationwide walkout.

Ajaero’s COP28 images, however, have sparked a lot of conversation among Nigerians, who claim he received payment for the Imo State incident.
