Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has rejected allegations of theft levelled against her, linking the claims directly to her ongoing marital crisis with her estranged husband, Senator Ned Nwoko.

Speaking during a live broadcast, Daniels alleged that Nwoko instigated the accusations, which she said have escalated to the issuance of an arrest warrant against her and members of her family. She dismissed the claims as baseless and malicious.

The actress specifically faulted the allegation that $40,000 was stolen from the senator’s residence, describing it as illogical and inconsistent with her knowledge of his lifestyle. Daniels maintained that Nwoko does not keep cash at home, raising questions about the credibility of the accusation.

“It’s confirmed, it’s true, and I’ve verified that it’s Ned. There is a warrant on everyone, including myself,” she said during the broadcast.

She added, “He is claiming that we stole $40,000 from his house, yet he doesn’t even keep money at home. So how could we have stolen $40,000?”

The allegation comes as tensions continue to rise between the couple, with the dispute now spilling into the public space and drawing widespread attention across social media platforms.
