Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has submitted herself for a drug test, escalating a months-long public dispute involving allegations of abuse, counter-accusations, and a controversial medical report.

Daniels confirmed the test in a video shared on Instagram, filmed at a hospital, where she told followers she was about to undergo laboratory screening. The move comes nearly three months after her husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, accused her of substance abuse amid a bitter marital fallout.

The controversy began in October 2025 when Daniels publicly accused Nwoko of domestic violence and abuse. Nwoko denied the claims and countered with allegations that the actress abused drugs, insisting he possessed her medical records to support his position.

Tensions deepened as Daniels’ co-wife, Laila Charani, waded into the dispute, alleging that the actress introduced her to drugs. The claims intensified online speculation and polarized public opinion.

Fueling the uproar further, an alleged medical report attributed to Serenity Royale Hospital surfaced online, purporting to show toxic levels of marijuana, morphine, opiates, cocaine, and alcohol in Daniels’ system.

Serenity Royale Hospital swiftly distanced itself from the document, denying any role in the release of Daniels’ laboratory results. In a public statement, the hospital said the publication of the classified information did not originate from its facility and urged the public to disregard the report.

Daniels’ decision to undergo a drug test now places fresh scrutiny on the allegations, as observers await verified medical findings to clarify a saga that has gripped social and entertainment circles for weeks.
