Roger Federer, the Swiss extraordinary tennis player reported his retirement from the game on Thursday, saying the following week’s Laver Cup will be his last ATP competition.

“As large numbers of you know, the beyond three years have given me challenges as wounds and medical procedures. I’ve endeavored to get back to full aggressive structure. Yet, I additionally know my body’s abilities and cutoff points, and its message to me of late has been beloved. I’m 41 years of age,” Federer said on Instagram.

“I have played more than 1,500 matches north of 24 years. Tennis has treated me more liberally than I at any point would have envisioned, and presently I should perceive when the time has come to end my cutthroat profession.
