According to Aisha Tamba, Sadio Mane’s wife, she’s prepared for the trials that lie ahead in their marriage. The former forward for Liverpool has also stated that she will not alter as a result of his reputation.

In a private ceremony last week in Dakar, Senegal, Mane and Tamba exchanged vows. Due to his belief in maintaining a discreet and clandestine personal life, Mane’s wedding announcement became viral online.

Speaking on her married life after the wedding, Tamba expressed her readiness to begin a new chapter in her life and her belief that Mane’s wealth and notoriety would not alter who she was. Tamba went on to say that she wished to remain grounded and near God’s faith.

“I am excited for my future life, which I know will be significantly different from this one. But since Sadio’s wealth and fame won’t alter who I am, I don’t feel under any pressure. This is not what I’m interested in. I will always be a modest person who is devoted to my religion.
