Sam Smith posed backstage at Some Like It Hot on Broadway on Friday night with their rumored beau Christian Cowan.

The 30-year-old Unholy singer looked sharp for the occasion in a red silk shirt and black jacket.

At the Shubert Theatre in New York, they took pictures with members of the cast, including Adrianna Hicks and NaTasha Yvette Williams.

Designer Christian, meanwhile, looked sharp in a black jacket and striped white shirt.

Christian smiled as he snuggled up to Sam as the two enjoyed their night out.

In other pictures, Sam could be seen grinning as they talked to the cast while Christian looked on.

The singer was undeterred by recent commotion, even though they had been criticized for their performance of “Unholy” with Kim Petras at the 2023 Grammy Awards earlier in the day.

The non-binary celebrity was called a “demonic, twisted, sick b*****d” by an Irish woman at the Central Park Zoo in a video that was shared on social media.

She was heard saying at the singer, “Sam Smith belongs in hell.” “You sick f***er, leave the kids alone.”

The unnamed Irish woman screamed abuse at them as the singer of Stay With Me went on with her walk.

Petras and Smith appeared in red latex during the raunchy performance of their hit song, surrounded by dancers wielding whips and devil horns, including Sam, whose top hat was topped with devil horns.

Following the performance, host Trevor Noah made light of the notion that some viewers could find the satanic overtones offensive.

Similar criticism of the song was leveled at the BRIT Awards last week, where the raunchy performance drew over 100 Ofcom complaints for ‘devil worship’ and a passionate kiss.

In London’s o2 on Saturday, the non-binary singer and Kim performed the hit together, and two of the backing dancers shared a passionate embrace at the conclusion of the show.

According to a representative for Ofcom, “We got 106 complaints regarding The Brit Awards on ITV1 on February 11.”

The bulk of complaints were over Sam Smith’s performance, and the remaining ones were about people using foul language and drinking too much.

Sam is in New York after being photographed cheering on her alleged lover Christian from the front row during Fashion Week there.

The two have previously been seen out and about in New York together, but they haven’t officially confirmed their relationship.
