After a football game on Monday, Samuel Eto’o, the president of the Cameroonian Football Federation, was seen on camera punching a man who was reportedly a journalist.

At the conclusion of the Brazil-South Korea game outside Stadium 974 in Qatar, Eto’o was seen punching the man in the video released by the Spanish publication La Opinion.

The viral video shows people approaching the former footballer as he was being led out of the stadium to take pictures with him and say hello as Eto’o was being dragged out. Images captured by journalist Ricardo Lopez Juarez of La Opinion de Los Angeles, who witnessed the events, show how one of them approached him with a camera to record him and said something that incensed the Cameroonian.

Eto’o turned and addressed the fan after what appeared to be a comment was made after he had left the supporter.
