The late Akintola Williams’ funeral was attended by a number of notable people, including the governors of Lagos State, Dapo Abiodun, and Ogun State, as well as former governor Ibikunle Amosun.
Williams, who passed away on September 11, 2023, at the age of 104, will be buried today, October 19, 2023.
Among those in attendance were businessman Aliko Dangote, Pst Mrs Ifeanyi Adefarasin of the Prelate Methodist Church Nigeria, His Eminence Dr. Oliver Alli Abba, Lagos’s Archbishop, Dr. Isaac Ayo Olawuyi, Bishop Steven Adegbite, Lagos State CAN Chairman, and Very Revd Sola Kuyebi of the Presbyter Wesley Cathedral Olowogbowo.
