Sanwo-Olu N1.168trillon 2020 Budget And Ambode N287.68 Billion 2019 Budget

Babajide Sanwo-Olu Lagos Governor,    today  presents  a total budget size of N1.168trillion for 2020 to the House of Assembly which is higher than the N852.13 billion presented by Akinwumi Ambode former governor of Lagos state.

The budget estimates consist of N723.6billion as capital expenditure and N441.8billion for recurrent expenditure, which is a ratio of 62-48 per cent.

Tagged budget of re-awakening, the governor said there were needs for sacrifices to re-invent Lagos in order to take the state to a much higher level.

Ambode presented N852.13billion for the 2019 budget, but the Lagos state house of assembly passed N874billion,  it   budged  N479  for capital expenditure while 393billion was set aside for the recurrent budget .
