SENATE APPROVES 17 NPC COMMISSIONERS

The nomination of seventeen individuals as Commissioners for the National Population Commission (NPC) by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has been approved by the Senate.

In a letter to the Red Chamber, President Tinubu requested that the Senate confirm the 17 people as Commissioners.

It was learned that the appointees were ratified by the upper legislative chambers on Wednesday during plenary.

Ejike Eze, Blessyn Brume-Ataguba, Jeremiah Nwakwegu, Dr. Tony Aiyejina, Clifford Zirra, Chidi Ezeoke, Isa Buratai, Alex Ukam, and Emmanuel Eke are the ones who have been confirmed.

Abubakar Damburam, Mary Ishaya, Saany Sale, Ogiri Henry, Prof. Uba Nnabue, Saadatu Garba, and Dr. Aminu Tsanyawa have all been verified.
