– Atalanta’s match against Como postponed due to waterlogged pitch.
– Rescheduled for Tuesday at 18:45 GMT.
– Atalanta’s mixed start includes two wins and two defeats this season.
– A win would align them with Juventus in points, while Como struggles near the bottom of the table.

Atalanta’s Serie A match against Como has been postponed due to heavy rainfall that rendered the pitch unplayable, as confirmed by league officials on Monday. Despite players warming up on the field in northern Italy, significant puddles prompted the match referee and the team captains to declare the surface unsuitable for play.

The game has been rescheduled for Tuesday at 18:45 GMT. Atalanta, last season’s Europa League champions and fourth in Serie A, have had a mixed start to the current season, securing two wins and two defeats. They recently played to a goalless draw against Arsenal in their Champions League opener. A victory against Como would allow Atalanta to level points with fourth-placed Juventus, while Como currently sits second from the bottom in the league.
