Former Kaduna Central Senator Shehu Sani says the Atiku-Obasanjo feud could continue until one of the two politicians dies.
Sani made the comment on Saturday while reacting to the renewed clash between former President Olusegun Obasanjo and former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar, the African Democratic Congress (ADC) presidential candidate.
In a post on X, Sani described the dispute as a political battle that has lasted for decades. He said it began when members of Generation Z were still in primary school.
According to Sani, Atiku recently fired a “devastating bomb” at Obasanjo and has since faced what he called the former president’s “hypersonic missiles”.
Obasanjo recently reignited the Atiku-Obasanjo feud by saying that choosing Atiku as his running mate in 1999 was his biggest mistake.
Atiku has since criticised his former principal, reopening old political disagreements.
