Yaoundé, Cameroon — Super Falcons forward Rinsola Babajide has applauded Nigeria’s emphatic 3–1 victory over the Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon in an international friendly at the Military Stadium, Yaoundé.

Nigeria overturned a first-leg 1–0 defeat to Cameroon, producing a dominant display to silence the hosts on Tuesday.

The side, led by head coach Justine Madugu, responded with intensity and precision, sealing a deserved win. Babajide spearheaded the charge, scoring one goal and providing an assist to cap a commanding individual performance.

Reacting to the result, the AS Roma forward took to X to celebrate the team’s turnaround.

“Great reaction from the team today,” she wrote.

The Super Falcons now turn their focus to preparations for the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, as they intensify efforts to reclaim continental dominance.
