SUSPECTED N2 BILLION FRAUD LEADS TO THE CAPTURE OF A WANTED LAGOS BIG GUY.

Chike Nosa Agada, an unlicensed foreign exchange broker, was detained by agents of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC)’s Lagos Zonal Command for an alleged N2 billion fraud.

The Commission issued a wanted notice for the 37-year-old resident of Enugu State’s Udi LGA on Wednesday, October 11, 2023, for allegedly collecting money under false pretenses and stealing N2 billion via conversion.

On Monday, October 16, 2023, during a sting operation by agents of the Commission, he was apprehended at a home in the Bourdillion, Ikoyi neighborhood of Lagos as a result of reliable information connecting him to the alleged fr@ud.

After his arrest, a cellphone was found on him.
