American pop sensation Taylor Swift has put to rest speculations that she plans to quit music after marriage, assuring fans that her passion for songwriting and performance remains unwavering.
In a recent interview with BBC Radio 2, the Life Of A Showgirl hitmaker addressed circulating theories that her engagement to American football star Travis Kelce might signal the end of her career. Swift firmly debunked the claims, stressing that marriage should never mean giving up one’s calling.
“It’s not why people get married, so they can quit their job,” Swift said. “Oh, I know they love to panic sometimes, but I love the person I’m with because he loves what I do and how fulfilled I am by making art and making music.”
The Grammy-winning artist, who got engaged to Kelce in August 2025, began dating the Kansas City Chiefs tight end in the summer of 2023. Their relationship has been a constant fixture in global entertainment headlines, but Swift’s latest remarks reaffirm her commitment to her craft and her fans.
By all indications, the pop star’s next chapter—both personally and professionally—will be written with music still at its heart.
