TERRORISTS KILL A FATHER AND FOUR BOYS AND ROB ANIMALS IN KADUNA.

Shuaibu Mohammed, the Ardo of Birni and Kewaye of Zazzau Emirate in Kaduna State, and his four children were assassinated by armed terrorists known locally as bandits.

The event happened about 1 p.m. on Saturday night in Dorayi village, Zaria Local Government, Kaduna State.

According to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), the bandits robbed 100 livestock belonging to the deceased Ardo.

Mr Mohammed’s widow, Halima Shuaibu, informed reporters in Zaria following the deceased’s funeral that the bandits shot her husband in the head.

“The bandits dragged Ardo out of his bedroom and shot him twice in the head, killing him instantly.”

My four children, who are or were married with children, were slaughtered by the bandits after they ransacked every apartment in the compound.

“Adamu Shuaibu, Musa Shuaibu, Abubakar Shuaibu, and Ibrahim Haruna are the victims.

They also stole over 100 of our cows after invading the compound, she claimed.

Abdurrahman Shuaibu, Ardo’s lone survivor, claimed the bandits also shot two other villagers as they fled the town.

Mohammed Jalige, the state police command’s spokeswoman, said he had not yet received a briefing on the event when called.

Meanwhile, a local neighbor claimed that Mr. Mohammed was especially targeted by the terrorists.

“I believe the Ardo was their intended victim; they sought him out. He and his kids were killed. He’s got money,” Tanimu Haske stated.
