THE AIDE TO TINUBU RESPONDS TO AKEREDOLU’S DEATH

Bayo Onanuga, a presidential adviser, has expressed sorrow over the passing of Ondo State Governor Rotimi Akeredolu.

In a German hospital where he was getting treatment, the late governor passed away on Wednesday at around two in the morning.

The sick Ondo governor passed away from prostate cancer and leukemia, which had rendered him unable to function for several months, according to Premium Times.

In response to the tragic event, Onanuga posted on his X handle, stating that Governor Akeredolu had been battling an ailment for a while and has ultimately lost the fight.

The presidential assistant prayed for the governor of Ondo’s soul to rest in peace.

He wrote: “Arakunrin Rotimi Akeredolu, a.k.a Aketi, finally lost the battle with ravaging illness. May he Rest In Perfect Peace.”
