An alleged ad hoc personnel recruiting portal for the general election of 2023 has been disowned by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), which has called it a hoax.

In a statement sent on its official social media accounts on Wednesday, INEC urged the public to ignore the phony link.

Our attention has been raised to a fraudulent online recruitment link for inecnigeria.govservice.site.

Pres.inecnigeria.org and Inecpress-app.com/pres are the official INEC websites.

We beg Nigerians to ignore the phony link and stay away from con artists, it stated.
