Aregbesola thanked everyone who attended, including Muslims at home and abroad, and urged Nigerians to emulate the deep spiritual virtues of love, patience, tolerance, and perseverance that the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) exemplified. He added that doing so would ensure peace, security, and harmony in the nation.
He exhorts Nigerians, especially Muslims, to abstain from violence, illegal behavior, and other criminal behaviors. He remarked, “We must show responsible leadership in Africa as the undeniable leader of our race.”
