THE LAGOS STATE GOVERNMENT HAS CLOSED A SCHOOL BECAUSE OF A 4-YEAR-OLD GIRL WHO WAS D£FILED BY A SECURITY OFFICER.

The Lagos State Government acted quickly, closing the Greater Scholars International School in the state’s Ajah district.

This decision was issued in reaction to the reported defilement of a four-year-old student on April 27, 2023, by the school’s security guard, David James, under the guise of cleaning her.

David James, a 23-year-old security guard, has been charged and held in custody. On a charge of s£xal aault, he appeared before Mrs. B.O. Osunsanmi of Magistrate’s Court 1, Ogba.

Concerned persons, including friends, family members, and representatives of non-governmental organizations, recently protested at the school entrance, demanding justice for the kid and the closure of the institution. According to recent images circulating online, the Lagos State Ministry of Education has locked the school in response to the event.

The continuing legal proceedings are scheduled to continue on September 4, 2023.
