The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and its militia arm, the ESN, were found to be operating the largest bomb manufacturing in the southeast.

Chris Anyanwu, the command’s spokesperson, revealed this in a statement on December 15.

He claims that the IPOB/largest ESN’s and most renowned camp, located at Obegu, a border location between the Onicha-Isu and Ishielu LGAs of Ebonyi State, was raided by the police.

“A previous encounter between members of the Command’s Tactical Teams, in response to credible information learned that the hoodlums were operating/wreaking havoc in the State with a Toyota Sienna space bus that they robbed at gunpoint from the owner within Ishielu axis, necessitated the invasion of the criminals’ den.

Sunday Ubah, also known as Bongo, the IPOB/ESN State Commander in Ebonyi State, was apprehended after a swift investigation and collaborative effort with a team of detectives assigned to Ohaukwu Division.
