The Lagos State Parks Management Committee Chairman, Musiliu Akinsanya, also known as MC Oluomo, was allegedly threatened against a particular tribe, according to the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC), which announced on Sunday that it will invite him to testify.
M.C. Oluomo had threatened that members of a particular tribe living in Lagos shouldn’t bother to vote if they won’t support the ruling party, APC, in a widely circulated video.
The Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, will also be invited to appear before an investigative panel of the Commission over alleged false and defamatory statements, according to Executive Secretary of the Commission, Chief Tony Ojukwu (SAN), who briefed reporters on the preliminary report of the NHRC election observers on the March 18 elections on Sunday.
In video, Governor Bello is shown using what appear to be insulting language toward the state’s political rivals.
