The proprietor of a Lisbon pet photography business announced the news on social media on Monday, honoring the renowned dog, according to a Daily Mail story.

“Rest in peace, friend,” he said. I am grateful for the opportunity to have met the world’s oldest dog. What a remarkable life you have led.”
