THE PRESIDENT OF NUGA HAS DIED

Emeka Ogbu, the president of the Nigerian Universities Games Association (NUGA), has passed away.

On Monday, November 27, Ogbu passed away following a brief illness.

On Wednesday in Jos, Mohammed Bawa, the association’s acting president, informed reporters of Ogbu’s passing.

Emeka Ogbu was the Enugu State University of Science and Technology’s (ESUT) Director of Sports before he passed away.

In March 2022, he won the NUGA presidential election.

The General Head of C&S Has Died
Ayo Ni O, Surulere District, Lagos, Sunday Funso Korede, the Chairman and General Leader of the Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church, has passed away.

In a statement released by the Church on Tuesday, it was revealed that Korede passed away on Sunday, November 26, at the age of 73, however the cause of death was not mentioned.

In her eulogy, the Church acknowledged Korede’s significant accomplishments and spiritual development inside the Church.

The statement reads, “With gratitude to God for a life well spent; a life of devoted service and commitment and total submission to His will, the Elders and entire membership of the Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church Surulere District and the illustrious Korode family of Omu-Aran announce the transition to glory of our Chairman/General Leader, son…Senior Special Apostle Sunday Funso Korede on Sunday, November 26 2023; aged 73.”
