Saheed Wasiu, also known as K-Federal and wanted for murder and cult-related activities in the state, has been detained by the Osun State Police Command.

The spokesman for the Command, Yemisi Opalola, stated in a statement that the suspect is a member of the Oko-Ilu-led Eiye Confraternity under the name Rasheed Hammed and that he was apprehended by detectives from the Special Anti-Cultism section in the Alusekere region of Ede.

He admitted during questioning that he was a part of the Eiye fraternity, which was headed by Rasheed Hammed, also known as Oko-Ilu, who had been detained and remanded to correctional detention previously.

The suspect admitted to taking part in the murder of around 20 innocent Ede town residents, who were then dumped at the Osun River in the Sagba neighborhood. The deceased Wale, Jamiu, Ganiyu, Azeez, and Eyimba are among those that perished.
