The National Security Council is currently convening at the Presidential House in Abuja under the chairmanship of President Muhammadu Buhari.
The discussion, which is taking place in the Council Chamber behind closed doors, is anticipated to assess the country’s present security situation, particularly in light of the impending general election.

It happens soon after the Coalition Against Covid-19 (CACOVID) launched security apparatus at the Council Chambers.

The National Security Council offers the president advice on a variety of topics, including national security.
