Babatunji Wusu –

President Bola Tinubu has arrived in Lagos State for the Eid-el-Fitri celebrations.
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and members of the State Executive Council welcomed the Nigerian leader at the presidential wing of Murtala Muhammad International Airport in Ikeja.

Ajuri Ngelale, the presidential spokesperson, stated on Saturday that Tinubu will “observe the moment in prayers for Nigeria and with family in deference to the solemn occasion, which marks the end of Ramadan.”

Ngelale noted that the president will continue to do official tasks throughout and after the Eid-el-Fitr holidays.

After fasting for 29 or 30 days during Ramadan, Muslims around the world celebrate Eid-el-Fitri.
