Abayomi Mumuni, the defunct Congress for Progressive Change (CPC) gubernatorial candidate in Lagos State in 2011, has said that the All Progressives Congress, APC, Presidential candidate Asiwaju Bola Tinubu is not receiving as much support from President Muhammadu Buhari as expected, urging the president to reciprocate what Tinubu did for him in 2015.

Mumuni, a member of the Tinubu/Shettima Presidential Campaign Council’s Security and Intelligence Committee, stated over the weekend that Tinubu requires more support from Buhari than he is currently receiving.

The APC chieftain made the revelation in a statement released to Vanguard over the weekend by his Media Aide, Rasheed Abubakar.

Mumuni, on the other hand, has urged Buhari to repay what he claims Tinubu did for him (Buhari) before he won the election.

The APC chieftain in Lagos State stated that Tinubu, his supporters, and the APC in general require more support from Buhari than they are currently receiving.

Mumuni went on to say that Tinubu carried Buhari and supported him like a baby learning to crawl in the 2015 and 2019 elections.

He added that Tinubu has yet to receive such backing from President Buhari, particularly with the election less than a month away.

He then advised Buhari to repay the kindness shown to him during that difficult time.

“Buhari should reciprocate what Tinubu did for him in 2015,” Mumuni said. We expect more support from Buhari than we are currently receiving.”

“In 2015 and 2019, Asiwaju carried Buhari, backing him like a baby learning to crawl to win both elections. Essentially, we expect President Buhari to repay the kindness shown to him during that trying time.”

“Both myself and Buhari ran for office during the ANPP and CPC eras, and we both lost badly.”

“There was no election held during the ANPP and CPC eras in which I did not vote, so what are we talking about?”

“Buhari should do better than what we have now in the APC.”
