Dr. Nentawe Yilwatda, the All Progressive Congress (APC) candidate for governor in Plateau State, has claimed that Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the party’s presidential candidate, has what it takes to reposition Nigeria and transform it into a vibrant country where justice and fairness will prevail regardless of creed, tribe, or religious affiliation.
This was said by Dr. Yilwatda when the APC Zonal rallies in the Plateau Central Zone got underway at the Pankshin mini-stadium.
He emphasized that the fact that the presidential candidate was formerly the governor of Lagos State says a lot about what he can do to revive the economy and deal with the many issues the nation is currently facing.
Nentawe characterized Tinubu as a man without religious or ethnic prejudice in his political lexicon because he has demonstrated that he is a man who seeks excellence, capacity, and ability. She added that this will further open up opportunities for more qualified Plateau State residents to receive recognition and appointments under his presidency.
The candidate for governor praised Central Zone residents for their support and dedication to the Generation Next Project and vowed that, if elected, he would continue the work of Governor Lalong in terms of projects, security, peace, and harmony.
At the rally, Governor Simon Lalong said that Nentawe and Tinubu together will support and speed up the development of the state and the nation as a whole. He also said that given the level of support the party has in the state and across much of the nation, the prospect for victory is tangible and clear.
Lalong asserts that Asiwaju and Shettima, who have a track record of success, will solidify the APC’s gains in the state and the country.
The governor urged the populace to avoid being duped by individuals who advocate fragmented voting based on ethnic and religious emotions in an effort to split the APC’s support.
Ahmed Idris Wase, deputy speaker of the house of representatives, said during his speech that the APC’s track record in bringing progress to Plateau State is unparalleled and will never be beaten.
