Babatunji Wusu –
On Monday, President Bola Tinubu hosted the leadership of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) at the State House in Abuja.
The president met with the Christian body’s leadership, led by President Daniel Okoh, at the Presidential Villa’s Council Chamber.
The meeting’s details were unknown at the time of filing this report.
The meeting takes place just days after President Tinubu met with members of the Supreme Council for Sharia in Nigeria (SCSN) in the State House in Abuja.
This meeting came just two days after SCSN’s President, Sheikh Abdur-Rasheed Hadiyyatullah, publicly apologized for supporting the APC’s same-faith ticket in the 2023 elections.
Remember how Shah Sheikh Hadiyyatullah had started a new discussion over the Muslim-Muslim ticket running for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in 2023?
He claimed that although the same-faith ticket was crucial to President Tinubu’s election win, Nigerians’ lives had not improved in any way in an interview with journalists in Abuja.
