Sen. Bola Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, has stated that votes cast for him on February 25 will secure Nigerians’ future.
Tinubu said at the APC Presidential Rally at the Moshood Abiola Democracy Park in Akure on Saturday that his “Renewed Hope” agenda would transform the country and make Nigerians happy.
The presidential candidate, who praised the massive crowd that greeted him, stated that he was running for the betterment of the country.
If elected president, he promised to replicate his achievements as governor of Lagos State at the national level.
Nigeria, he believes, should not be placed in the hands of anyone who cannot be trusted.
Tinubu, who described Ondo State as a progressive state, promised that if elected, he would make the proposed Ondo Sea Port a reality.
Tinubu promised to prioritize education “so that indigent students could access student loan scheme” while also promising to invest heavily in infrastructure and make electricity supply a reality.
The APC presidential candidate urged voters to keep their permanent voter’s cards and turn out in large numbers to vote for him on February 25, saying it would determine their fate.
Earlier, Gov. Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, who described Ondo as a progressive state, urged the people to support the party’s “Renewed Hope” agenda by voting in the upcoming elections.
Sen. Iyiola Omisore, the party’s National Secretary, urged voters to vote for all of the party’s candidates in his speech.
Omisore emphasized the importance of continuity, both at the state and national levels, explaining that the APC-led government had done tremendous work to ensure the country’s survival.
He promised that if elected, Tinubu would bring more achievements to the federation than he did as governor of Lagos.
Mr Ade Adetimehin, the APC’s state chairman, stated that Ondo State was “completely progressive.”
Adetimehin stated that the party would deliver the state for Tinubu, emphasizing that “no other state in the country, not even Lagos, will beat Ondo State in terms of percentage of votes for Tinubu in the upcoming election.”
He claimed that Akeredolu had given the party the order to win convincingly, noting that there was no division or faction in the party’s state chapter.
