Tiwa Savage Dispels Rumors of Trolling Wizkid, Says She Kept Silent on False Narrative

Afrobeats star Tiwa Savage has debunked claims that she once trolled Grammy-winning singer Wizkid, insisting the narrative was fabricated and never came from her.

The controversy surfaced after a Wizkid fan assured Savage of Starboy’s supporters standing behind her. Another fan, however, accused her of mocking Wizkid in the past and urged against supporting her.

Amid the heated exchange, a fan turned to Grok, X’s AI bot, to confirm the allegation. The bot responded that there was no evidence of Savage ever trolling Wizkid.

Relieved, the singer took to her page to clear the air. “Thank you o, have never done that. But they have just ran with this narrative and I have just kept quiet,” she wrote.

Savage and Wizkid had once sparked dating rumors after their steamy chemistry in Wizkid’s 2018 hit video Fever. Both singers later dismissed the speculation, clarifying that their bond was strictly musical.
