In an effort to bring the gospel to rural areas of Nigeria, Apostle Johnson Suleman, the general overseer of Omega Fire Ministries, gave missionaries an automobile as a present.
The automobile is intended to facilitate distribution of holy Bibles to underprivileged areas around Nigeria.
According to a video of the occasion that was released on Suleman’s official Instagram page, the missionaries, who are couples, have served as full-time missionaries for 17 years.
In a sermon at a church event where the missionaries had been invited, Apostle Suleman urged them to distribute the two Bible packs they had brought to the gathering.
Suleman told them thereafter that when God summons someone, it requires great sacrifices.
Although the missionaries are located in Lagos, Suleman said they travel all around the nation.
General Overseer gave the missionaries a Lexus car as a gift, shocking both the congregation and the missionaries by claiming, “It is not from me, it is from us.”
The affable missionaries who knelt before the priest waved their hands in thanks and accepted the blessings with thankfulness and a sense of mission as they continued in their task of spreading the gospel to those who most needed it.
