According to India Today, Pakistan’s social milieu has given rise to a sexually charged and repressed society where some people have resorted to locking their daughters’ graves in order to protect them from sexal violence.
This comes after a girl’s body was allegedly rap£d in 2013 and was found outside a graveyard in Qila Didar Singh, Gujranwala. Following this, the matter was brought to Shahbaz Sharif’s attention, who subsequently ordered an immediate investigation, according to Express News.
