His Majesty, Enyi Friday Abaja, of Umukwata Kingdom in Delta State, has built a 5-kilometer road to alleviate the difficulties his people faced when moving from one community to another.

This comes as preparations for the road’s opening in a few weeks have advanced.

Mr. Sam Enudi, a community leader in the kingdom who made this known, stated that the project is part of the traditional ruler’s string of philanthropic gestures.

He mentioned that the traditional ruler had given scholarships to some impoverished students from his community attending Delta State University and others.

Apart from intervening in watering community disputes, he revealed that the traditional ruler built a health center, installed street lights, and built interlock roads in his immediate community of Umukwata on his own.

“He also built a market in Abbi and a shopping mall conglomerate between Obiaruku, Obinomba, and Owah-Abbi, bringing significant developments to these communities,” Enudi said.
