– Warns funders of attacks: “WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU!”
– U.S. Attorney General charges three for arson with Molotov cocktails
– Elon Musk condemns attacks as “domestic terrorism”
United States President Donald Trump has issued a stern warning to individuals caught sabotaging Tesla vehicles, threatening them with up to 20 years of imprisonment. The announcement came through a fiery post on his Truth Social account on Friday.
“People that get caught sabotaging Tesla’s will stand a very good chance of going to jail for up to twenty years, and that includes the funders. WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU!!!” Trump declared, signaling a no-nonsense stance against the rising assaults on Tesla properties.
This warning follows U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi’s announcement of criminal charges against three individuals accused of setting Tesla cars ablaze using Molotov cocktails. Bondi condemned the attacks as “domestic terrorism” and vowed that the perpetrators would face the “full force of the law.”
Earlier this week, Tesla CEO Elon Musk expressed outrage over the incidents, attributing the attacks to “terrorism” after multiple cars were set on fire at a Las Vegas facility.
With tensions rising and investigations underway, the U.S. government appears determined to crack down on those behind the escalating attacks on one of the world’s leading electric vehicle manufacturers.
