According to reports, an automobile accident on Oyo State’s Iseyin-Ogbomoso Road claimed the lives of at least two people.

An eighteen-seater passenger bus transporting passengers crashed along the freeway on Tuesday night.

According to a source, the bus suddenly burst one of its tires at full speed, causing it to jump erratically off the road.

Alhaji Lukman Omipoleko Olope, the bus driver, was reported to have passed away instantly.

“I saw him this morning.” He inquired about my plans to visit Ilorin. This came about so quickly.

Individuals who witnessed him prior to the incident are shocked and in disbelief. May God ignore his transgressions and pardon him,” lamented Ashirudeen Ayuba, the late driver’s ally.

In the meantime, the deceased’s remains have been sent home in accordance with Islamic customs for burial.

Adekanye Oluwafemi Joshua, the Federal Road Safety Corps’ (FRSC) Oyo State Sector Commander, acknowledged the event and stated that 18 persons were involved in the single collision.

He claimed that a commercial Toyota Hiace bus with the registration number ARP 409 XB was involved in the collision that happened at Ahoro Dada Village along the Iseyin-Ogbomoso road.

Adekanye determined that the car crash’s two main causes were speeding and tire violations.

He continued by saying that the Amotekun corps and vigilantes handled the rescue mission.
