Troops in Damaturu, the Yobe State capital are reportedly in a fierce battle with suspected Boko Haram terrorists who attempted to infiltrate the state capital late Tuesday evening.
The PREMIER NEWS gathered that the suspected terrorists, who came in their dozens, attempted to sneak into the metropolis through Maisandari axis, a community located at the eastern fringes of the city, but were stopped by the troops.
The attack on the state capital was the first of its kind in over four years.
