Tunji Wusu –

Former education minister Oby Ezekwesili has demanded an impartial probe into the allegations made by Ejikeme Mmesoma, an Anambra candidate who was charged by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board with falsifying her 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination result.

The former minister stated, “This saga between Mmesoma Ejikeme and @JAMBHQ requires an Independent Tech investigation to uncover all facts,” in a message made via her official Twitter account @obyezeks. It is legitimate to ask for a forensic inquiry to assist shed light on what actually transpired after hearing what she has to say in this video. I’ve been in touch with JAMB’s Registrar.

“An independent investigation would transform this strange incident into a learning opportunity for everyone, especially students, at @JAMBHQ. To be completely honest, I don’t see any drawbacks to requesting a group of Independent Technology personnel to look into it and make their conclusions public. Let’s get going.

Ejikeme utilized her artificially inflated score to secure a N3 million scholarship from Innoson Motors and was about to receive it from the Anambra state government before she was discovered, according to a statement released by JAMB on Sunday night.

Ejikeme, however, asserted that she printed the “fake” result from the JAMB portal in a video that was made public on Monday night.
