Babatunji Wusu –
According to Federal Capital Territory Minister Nyesom Wike, his administration plans to discontinue the tricycle, sometimes referred to as Keke Napep in some parts of Abuja.
The Minister further pledged that there would be no Keke Napep operations in Asokoro and Maitama, and that the threat posed by one-chance would soon be eradicated in Nigeria’s capital.
In order to address the issue of transportation and the criminal activity of one-chance in the Federal Capital Territory, Wike stated that the FCDA will be implementing buses and levies in the near future.
All of the routes in Asokoro and Maitama will be serviced by these buses and taxis. At least in these locations, Keke Napep is being kicked out.
